Sam picks her up and settles her against her chest, where Lou makes some sleepy noises as she starts waking up a little. "I was worried she would, but she's a strong kid. She's taking her bottle just fine. Sleeps a couple hours at a time. She wakes up during the night a few times, but usually she falls back to sleep pretty quickly after I feed her. And sing to her." He smiles and kisses the top of Lou's head, her little duck fluff hair. "Surprised my singing doesn't make her cry."
