Who: Bruce Wayne and You, also Batman and you!
What: Catch-All for the month of October.
Where: Outside Wechester Enterprises, around the city, rooftops
When: Batman portions are night! Otherwise any time for the others!

OCTOBER 5TH ~ THE GREENS.
The sudden change of landscape made Bruce Wayne even more paranoid and unsure of the area they were in. Beachville was nice - almost like a summer paradise. However, Wechester City reminded him more of his own home. Gotham City. He had to wonder if there were corrupt cops, mobsters running the city, and a gallery of rogues that seemed insane to anyone who didn't know the city. He hoped not.

However... Wechester Enterprises had caught his attention ever since it appeared. It reminded him of his own multi-billion dollar company back home. He needed a job and running his own company seemed like a good enough resume to get in. It would let him poke around and see what was going on inside the company that just appeared seemingly over night. Maybe even find some clues to why these fluxes and everything happened.

For now though, he is sitting on a park bench, enjoying the crisp weather. With one cup from Starkbucks of course.

OCTOBER WHENEVER ~ THE ROOFTOPS OF THE CITY.
It took evidence to show that he had to don the Suit. Enough shady dealings inside the company to make him warrant potentially needing to go in as the Bat. Even now he isn't too sure that he needed to go in as the Bat. Instead he is simply staking out on rooftops near by. Enough to get the idea of the Bat roaming around. If Wechester Cityt was like Gotham... then there was a chance they'd need the Bat.

Otherwise he'd just simply go back to the shadows and be out when needed. Maybe this was something like the White Portuguese... then maybe it only called for the real mask. Bruce Wayne.

A curious brow raises underneath the mask; something to alter the voice was actually not a bad idea. But even with the modified voice, he can't help feeling something...familiar about the figure.

Was that his Spider-sense? Could his Spider-senses even do that?

"You'll forgive me if I'm feeling a bit shy," he answers, deepening his voice as much as he could. Staying invisible, he took a few more steps closer. "I'd probably feel more comfortable once we've gotten to know each other a little more."

The Bat has refrains from laughing. A voice younger than what he's trying to be. He stands then and turns to properly face the voice. Not to mention they're trying to add an air of humor. Well, that's a change.

"Shy or suspicious." His cloak comes over his shoulders to hide his figure. A lone shape standing against the backdrop of the Wechester Enterprise building. "Weschester Enterprises. Do you know anything about it?"

"Guess that depends on your perspective," he replies. "Anyone standing on a rooftop in the dark might seem suspicious."

So he keeps his guard up as he stands at the edge of the roof, looking at the enterprise building.

"Only that they have a cafe in the lobby. But I haven't had a chance to take the tour yet."

"They do." He isn't going to argue that they both look suspicious. Vigilantes always do. He half turns to look back at the towering skyscraper in front of them.

Too bad most of his gear isn't here. He'll have to work like he did back in the beginning of his career.

"The tour only takes you so far up the building."

"Which might make some people wonder if they're hiding something."

The Bat couldn't see - even if he was visible, he was still wearing a mask - but he grinned a bit to himself.

"Totally non-suspicious wondering, of course."

"They'll expect that from strangers to their city." The Bat shakes his head. "You'll need to get creative."

"Creative huh?" Give him a break, he hasn't been doing this for very long. "Well, I'm sure they wouldn't expect an invisible spider on their wall."

Getting in wouldn't be much of a problem, and he might be able to listen in for anything funny.

Call it advice from a senior vigilante. Not that the Bat ever expected to see himself in another mentor role. He didn't want to be in one again. Not after Robin.

"Spider. Did you pick that yourself?"

"Uh...not exactly," he admitted. "I kind of...inherited it, I guess? Although I'm guessing there's gonna be another Spider-Man swinging around here soon enough, so I can't exactly go by that name anymore."

He hadn't thought about it until now, but with Peter around, it might get confusing if there were two Spider-Men.

"It means it has some power to it. It must be a burden." The Bat comments easily, simply looking out back at the looming building. "I haven't seen any spiders like the one you're describing."

"Maybe a little," he admits with a shrug. "But sometimes those are the things worth carrying on."

Should he confirm that there would definitely be another spider out there? Maybe he should be more careful.

"Well, just in case, I should probably think of a different name. Just in case."

"You're not wrong about that."

The Bat only started out as an idea - a wish, a goal. Carry on the family legacy by trying to save Gotham. Instill fear in criminals, and give hope to those that maybe they could rise above what Gotham had become. Although, it hasn't always been easy, and he's fallen. He fell so far...

"Seeing what you look like would be a starter to help naming you."

He hesitates for a moment, considering that. Well, they'd been having a conversation for this long, and it was probably kind of weird to keep talking when one party couldn't see the other. Plus, if there was a chance they could work together instead of against each other, it would make things a lot easier.

So, after another moment, he reverts to normal, becoming visible for the other figure to see.

The Batman takes in the sight of the other costumed person. A young man, really. It was obvious the suit was a home job... but that isn't a problem. It shows there's care and consideration for what he's doing. It isn't just a game to him. That's worth respect alone.

"Black and red." He comments instead.

He nods a little, and he could almost feel the figure scrutinizing his suit. "It's a good combination," he replies.

"Striking. It'll make you stick out when you want to." He had one hell of a designer. "Are there more like you here?"

"Thanks. I made it myself." Sort of. The colors were his idea anyway. "I know there's at least another one here."

He wasn't sure how often Gwen or Peter had gone swinging, or if they'd been seen by people yet, but hopefully keeping it vague would make things less obvious.

Made it himself. Someone that young having the resources to that kind of material? The Bat is impressed--even if it doesn't show past the cowl and the stoic expression.

"At least one." The Bat notes out loud. "What ideas did you come up with for a name?"

Why was he helping name a younger hero? It's... all sort of deja vu, in a way.

Bats didn't have to know he only meant the paint job. But anyway.

"Nothing specific yet," he admits with a shrug. "Something to fit the spider theme, though. Otherwise the logo won't really make much sense."

Gotta keep the brand consistent, after all.

Hm. Branding. Wait until the merchandise happens.

"Alternative forms of a spider then. Arachnid?"

That may have been a bit too on the money. But, then again, the was quite literally a man in a batsuit.

A man in a batsuit talking to someone now formerly known as Spider-Man.

"Arachnid, huh?" He can't help chuckling a little. "That's definitely on point."

What a duo they make!

"Might be something to think about." The Bat offers. "Make it your own, not just a suggestion given to you."

"I'll definitely take it under consideration, thanks." Then he glances at the figure again. "And is there anything I can call you?"

Since they were getting to know each other, and all.

"The Batman, when it's useful."

This meant of course that he was usually meant to be one that doesn't exist. Unless he needs to. The Bat is something that only comes out when needed. Otherwise, those who are meant to fear him can't. Those who are inspired to be like him, can't have an ideal to inspire to be like.

"The Batman, huh?"

He glances the figure up and down. Not like he can be one to judge on the name.

"Seems fitting."

And not just because of the bat ears.
