What: Catch-All for the month of October.
Where: Outside Wechester Enterprises, around the city, rooftops
When: Batman portions are night! Otherwise any time for the others!

OCTOBER 5TH ~ THE GREENS.
The sudden change of landscape made Bruce Wayne even more paranoid and unsure of the area they were in. Beachville was nice - almost like a summer paradise. However, Wechester City reminded him more of his own home. Gotham City. He had to wonder if there were corrupt cops, mobsters running the city, and a gallery of rogues that seemed insane to anyone who didn't know the city. He hoped not.

However... Wechester Enterprises had caught his attention ever since it appeared. It reminded him of his own multi-billion dollar company back home. He needed a job and running his own company seemed like a good enough resume to get in. It would let him poke around and see what was going on inside the company that just appeared seemingly over night. Maybe even find some clues to why these fluxes and everything happened.

For now though, he is sitting on a park bench, enjoying the crisp weather. With one cup from Starkbucks of course.

OCTOBER WHENEVER ~ THE ROOFTOPS OF THE CITY.
It took evidence to show that he had to don the Suit. Enough shady dealings inside the company to make him warrant potentially needing to go in as the Bat. Even now he isn't too sure that he needed to go in as the Bat. Instead he is simply staking out on rooftops near by. Enough to get the idea of the Bat roaming around. If Wechester Cityt was like Gotham... then there was a chance they'd need the Bat.

Otherwise he'd just simply go back to the shadows and be out when needed. Maybe this was something like the White Portuguese... then maybe it only called for the real mask. Bruce Wayne.

She couldn't help but eye him rather suspiciously for a minute or two when he makes the comment of her breaking into social circles but then she nods a little. "Maybe a little bit here and there. What about you?"

Those social circles had been hers at one time which meant that she had been able to break when needed. Also, there was her actual experience of being a thief.

"I'm part of those social circles." A shrug. "My family is one of the founding ones of Gotham City. We've run our company for generations. I inherited it as a child, and everything else that goes with it."

The mention that he was a part of those circles didn't help with the eyeing him bit but she wasn't going to automatically assume that he was bad. Especially if he was suspicious too.

"That doesn't really sound as fun as it should." She told him, shrugging a bit. "I mean there are perks, right? But probably a lot of headaches."

"Very little of my childhood was fun after I was eight." Bruce frowns, his gaze drifting ever so slightly. "Most of it was inner turmoil. My butler, Alfred, helped. He is a father figure to me."

The similarity of having one's life turned upside down at a young age causes a little twinge inside of Tandy. One that still doesn't sit well with her and she isn't really sure that it ever will. "I'm sorry, that sucks. At least you had someone though. That's good."

"It took time for me to realize that I had someone. It's a process." Bruce pauses then and looks down at her. "It sounds like you have something similar in your past."

"My dad died when I was younger and my mom was an addict," She tried to make it all sound casual, she really did, but there was no hiding the darkness that clung to her tone. "I didn't really have anyone though. Not till recently."

And now she didn't have him either.

"My parents were murdered in an alleyway outside of the theater we went and saw the Mask of Zorro at." Bruce continues the causal tone. He glances around them. "There's plenty of people here that aren't native that you can start with."

It's right there on the tip of her tongue to tell him what happened to her Dad but then she doesn't. There is too much about her Dad that she doesn't like to talk about.

"That sucks." She murmurs before glancing around as well, almost as if they are looking at the people he had mentioned. Then she shrugs. "I'm not really good at being around people but there are a couple of people I've met."

"Hm."

Sucks is one way of putting it. Bruce wouldn't bother her with the details of the murder, or the time after. The time of darkness where he spent punching and swinging, looking for a way out of it all.

"Do any of them stick?"

There is a flicker of pain as she thinks of Ty but then she shrugs. Thinking about him hurts a little too much and Tandy is great at avoiding things if she can. "How about I let you know?"

He gives a faint smile. "I think that's fair enough. You know how to get a hold of people over the network."

She nods as she starts to shift away from him, almost as if she is moving to leave, but then she pauses before turning to face him. She hesitates as she slides her hands into her pockets, sighing.

"When I said that it sucks that your parents died, that was kind of putting it lightly," Well, more than that. "It more than sucks. I know how something like that can mess with you for a while. I just...I'm sorry it happened to you."

Bruce looks back at her, that smile still faint on his face. "We all process it different ways. Thank you."

He means it too. Most of the time people gave him fake well wishes. The ones that were formal because they're expected. A few meant it. Lucius Fox, Jim Gordon. It's good to see that Tandry is apart of that circle now.
