Who: New arrivals and YOU.
What: The last group arrival day before things go weird again (more on that later.)
Where: Greenway Park Information Booth.
When: Mid-Afternoon, Sunday the 25h.

You know how it goes. One minute, you're in your own world. You're minding your own business. Going about your day, or maybe you're in the middle of something very, very important. Whatever the case, whether you blinked or you turned around or what have you, you're not where you were before. The first thing you might notice are the sounds around you. It's loud. Crowded. Horns honk and people shout and there's just the constant buzz of activity around you as people play and walk through and hang out in the massive park you find yourself in.

You're in a city. A large, bustling city full of people and all the chaos cities bring.

And somehow, over the din and aggressive noise pollution, you hear someone call your name.

There's an information booth nearby, with a man seated inside, watching you with vague but warm interest over the rim of his newspaper. Motioning you over, he has a packet of information for you and as he does so, he states simply;

"Check your pockets." Unless you're wearing something that doesn't have pockets, in which case, the man will tell you to check the ribbon hanging around your neck. At the end of it is a key. Maybe it's strange to you, and it'll unlock one of the apartments in the buildings nearby. Or maybe it's familiar, and you'll find a shell of your home on the outskirts of the city.

"It would be in your best interest," the man says as he points out the packet of information and hands you an envelope full of money that seem to shift colors very subtly. "If you read all of the information I just gave you."

And he's right. It has where you'll live, where to find jobs, information on a housemate (if you have one) and information on the cellphone he hands you. And there's a box of cookies that taste exactly like your favorite from home, the first bite recalling fond memories of eating them with loved ones, or biting into one fresh from your favorite bakery.

Unless you're rude, in which case, he simply stares at you until you walk away. And remember, if you persist in your behavior, he simply shuts the info booth and no manner of physical or magical attempts will get it to budge in the slightest. Or damage it.

With your cookies and information in hand, he simply gives you a small nod and a half-smile that clearly say it's time for you to move on and he resumes reading his paper.

"Oh dear, I don't mean to eavesdrop, but are you lost, dear?" Snow White was coming home from class, a deer carrying her bookbag while her wolf, Alarick, was staying by her side towards the curb to keep Snow safe, but most people were quick to part when Snow came by. They had to, she was being followed by a literal menagerie of deer, a wolf, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, hawks and pigeons and songbirds flying overhead, and all sort of other creature that wasn't necessarily out of place in a city if you headed for the park, but certainly out of place on the streets!

"Why don't you come home with me, and then we can get you something nice and warm to eat while we figure out where you're staying!"

She was surprised briefly before she turned and looked at the other. "I am quite lost. This world isn't like any I have been to before, I mean there are some things that sound like something from home, but at the same time they aren't anything I know."

When she had finished speaking, she found herself pausing for a moment. She couldn't help but notice the animals. So they could do such things too it seemed. That was nice to know.

"I see you have animal friends."

"Oh, I completely understand! This world isn't anything like what I'm used to either, there's so much more technology than I'm used to!" she giggled. "And yes, these are most certainly my friends. But I certainly enjoy making people friends as well. Let me introduce myself, my name is Snow White! What is your name?"

"For me, the technology seems familiar, but has different names." Like one of those pad things not being called a MirrorPad. That is odd to her. But also they were in a different place, so it makes sense too.

At the moment of introduction, she was about to curtsey and introduce herself before she found herself pausing and pretty shocked. Snow White. The exact same name as her mother but yet didn't look like her mother.... then again she didn't know much about what she had looked like when she had to fulfill her destiny... This also seemed about right.

Didn't make it any less surprising. "My name is Apple." she wasn't sure if it was at the moment a good idea to mention her last name just yet. If this was a younger version of her mother it meant that she might be surprised to know who she was.

"Your name is Apple?" Snow White felt sorry for the poor girl, but it wasn't as if everyone was afraid of apples! Just her. She smiled. "Well, your mother must love them, then!"

Ha.

"Well, if you like, Apple, we can find where you live, or at the very least, we can have you come to my home and get you something to eat before you start searching again."

"It's more she has a history with them."

It was hard to explain more without giving too much away in her mind. Though there were other parts of the story she could say, but the apple was always the main part because it was the final way the Queen tried to deal with her.

"That's right, I need to find where I am going to be staying. I don't think it's too far at this point."

"Oh how funny, I do too! You know, just before coming here, I actually bit into a poison apple. Sadly, it even came here with me. Oh, but don't worry, it's safely locked away so it can't hurt anyone. We certainly wouldn't want it hurting someone as lovely as you!"

At the mention of Apple's home being near, Snow White nodded.

"Then would you like some company on your walk?"

Well... that was awkward. The apple was actually here. Apple herself already had experience with it herself. At this moment, she couldn't help but be a little bit happy that it wasn't out in the open and was locked up especially since people can mistake it for a perfectly normal apple.

"That's horrible. Someone tried to kill you with an apple. But at least it's locked away."

But for the time being focus on getting to her new place. She wondered if it would be like at school and you get a roommate or something.

"I would like that. I just want to see what the place will be like and then I might explore."

"Oh yes, I'm afraid my stepmother is... well, I'm sure she- I'm sure if I can just sit down and speak with her we can come to an understanding," she pressed her lips together and then shook her head, smiling.

"That sounds like a very good idea. Would you like some company, Apple dear?"

"I'm sure it's always possible, but when you go to that extreme... I don't know. It might need a lot of talking and people around."

Apple wasn't so sure about that one. At least the Evil Queen where she was from was very good at what she did and didn't care who she used in her mind to get what she wanted... She was also one of those who agreed to what she wanted for the sake of what she wanted.

Regrets were had.

"I would love some company , especially while I try and get my bearings."

"Oh, I know, at the very least, my seven dear little men would want to be with me."

At the mention of wanting company, Snow White smiled. "Oh, wonderful! Everyone, we're going to take a little detour to help our new friend!"

"That's good. At least you have those that would be willing to be there for you should it ever happen."

She couldn't help but smile slightly. "Hopefully it won't be that long. I wouldn't want to take too much time away from what you were doing."

"Oh, I was only heading home, but I'm already finished with ah, homework? Yes, I like to get that all done as soon as possible to spend time with my loved ones and friends. So I finish that at school before heading home, or if my teachers give me the homework for the entire week, I do all of it that Monday! So I have all the time in the world for you, dear!"

"That is a very useful thing to do. The only exceptions are tests where you can't just finish that early on and it's best to do that in small amounts, but you still can do it and spend time with loved ones." She knows what could happen if one fails an exams.

"Oh, well, I do very well on my tests, I study as much as I can. Though some things are still a bit difficult for me. I'm afraid I don't do very well in math and science. Oh, but listen to me go on! We need to get you to your new home!"

"I mean it's good to talk while we are walking since we don't know how long it will be."

So it was good to have a lovely conversation. "I'm not sure how I would do in these classes since I'm not sure if they are the same as what I had back home."
