Number Five | Alternately You Event Catch-All
Who: Number Five & OTA
What: Working, Exploring & One Network Post
When: Alternately You Event ( 11/15 - 11/22 )
Where: Anywhere and Everywhere!
Warnings: None yet!
( Plotting post and Information on AU Five )
Order up! ( Starkbucks )
[ If he’s going to be living here as an adult — and from the way it seems, this universe is fine with allowing him to go on acting as one despite his current body situation. — then he needs to get a job. If one thing remained constant across the universes, then it was the fact that money ran the world and after a few days of exploring on his own, Five was starting to run short.
With his previous employment not exactly relevant to any job currently, Five finds himself standing behind the counter at Starkbucks. It’s not a particularly difficult job — although, The Boy still isn’t exactly good at making anything outside of a plain coffee — and the pay is enough to keep his fridge stocked and the lights on.
Five also isn’t a particularly friendly barista. He’s known for getting pretty ugly with customers who voice any sort of complaint — be it warranted or not — and doesn’t exactly exude the kind of warmth that is typically associated with the position. He doesn’t really give off any warmth period.
All in all, Five is a pretty sub-par barista, but if you’re looking for a good plain coffee and have an aversion to shallow small-talk then Number Five is your guy. ]
Jump around town ( Wechester City )
Attempting to get back home via spatial jump was completely off the table. Each time Five found himself back at the same information booth he'd first arrived at, getting increasingly more annoyed each time. Clearly, his limits remained within the city, but just how far did they go?
He needed to get a lay of the land, and the best way to do that? Walk the city! Once his shifts have wrapped up for the night, Five wanders the streets building a map of Wechester inside of his head. Before long, The Boy is jumping from block to block, disappearing and reappearing with nothing more than a quiet woosh sound. He's clearly skilled, making jumping through time and space look easy and he only occasionally miscalculates and ends up bumping into a random passerby as he suddenly appears.
Teleportation was a science, but not a perfect one.
Network | UN: five
I have a question for anyone else who isn’t originally from this city, and for anyone that might be familiar with time-travel.
I seemed to have found myself in a different body than the one I remember having. I’m not an entirely different person, I’m just a different version of myself. A younger version. A 13-year-old version. Did anyone else have this happen when they arrived?
For those of you more familiar with time-travel: have you ever heard of this being a side-effect? I only recently learned that I have the ability and I think I might have overestimated myself a little.
Wildcard
[ Five can also be found: working at both the library and Starkbucks, and really anywhere else that strikes your fancy. If you want to plot something out, or would like a closed starter hmu at
cabeswater and I'll throw one in the comments! As usual, don't feel tied to either style, do what you want. c: ]

wtf? i definitely thought i replied to this!!
(What the hell was a frappucino, anyway?)
He's clearly frustrated by an order that had just come in for pickup -- for as much of a genius as he prides himself on being, all the abbreviated and shorted words in front of him make him feel like a complete idiot.
Luckily for the not-so-teenage-but-still-teenage-boy, another one of his coworkers steps in to give him a helping just as Gwen's question catches his attention.
"No." He replies flatly. "I honestly thought there was just coffee and espresso. What fresh hell is all of this other stuff on the menu?" He gives a wave of his hand toward the board behind him.
