"I might," Evie replies with a small smile. "It's my good deed for the day."

But this is Evie. She's not the type to just do one 'good deed' and then leave the rest of the day to whatever. Evie lives off of good deeds and kindness.

"I'm trying to. I'm missing my sister, and her wolf keeps looking for her. But I think we're adapting."
