End of the Long Winter.
What: The entirety of Driftcrest and YOU! Even you new faces!
Where: The large park in the center of town.
When: From the 15th to the 18th
Warnings: Will warn as needed.
The people of Driftcrest have so much to celebrate. Their loved ones have been returned to them, and the Unseen are well and truly and genuinely gone. Not only that, but a Winter that had been going on for years is finally ended and it's well and truly Summer. Flowers are blooming, there's color in the town that wasn't there before. People are happy. They have their freedom back, and are taking full advantage of it.
Now that there's no longer a curfew, the party can go well into the night with music, dancing, food of all kinds all over the place both set on tables and in various food trucks.
With the hammocks hung up in the area, along with portable ones available to purchase, and twinkling string lights threaded through the trees, the setting is peaceful. A far cry from the stress of the last few weeks.
There's music, both live and recorded, and an outdoor dance floor has been set up under some beautiful hanging lanterns and twinkling string lights. Once the sun goes down, there'll be fires set up for people to sit by and make s'mores.
All in all, this promises to be a memorable experience.
Grab some food, buy a hammock, find somewhere to celebrate because this party will go on for a while.

He's trying to make polite conversation because Bruce is important to Gansey and Gansey needs people in his life who can help him find stable ground again.
Chainsaw leans close to Ronan's head and then hops and floats down to the ground to walk around one of the trees, searching for shiny things to take him or food to destroy. She stops and inspects Bruce's shoes before moving on.
"Hey! Don't go stealing the metal tips off shoelaces again."

"I have them now and then. Just because I'm rich doesn't mean I eat expensive meals outside of dinner functions." He raises his eyebrows again. "I'm guessing the raven likes shiny things."

"Have you talked to Gansey?" He asks as if it's the simplest and most casual question to ever be asked. The thing is he's not great with casual conversation and he doesn't like talking unless there is a reason to talk. And he's not particularly interested in talking to anyone's dad.
So there may a hint of awkwardness in the way he's trying not to be his usual blunt force trauma self because Gansey is important to him and he'd do anything for Gansey.

"About what?"

In the end Gansey is more important than himself so he looks away, finds the nearest trash can, tosses the pizza and beer. He wipes his hands on his jeans on the way back to Bruce.
"I'm worried about him and I need you to talk to him because you're the closest thing he has to family here. You and Evie...I need you both to take care of him and make sure he's really okay. Not fake fucking smiles at a charity function okay."

"It would help if I knew what it was you're worried about when it comes to him." Bruce turns to him properly then, the typical persona the man wears melting away. It's something that is far more rigid, straight forward, and maybe even dark. "Talking can mean a lot of different things."
