End of the Long Winter.
What: The entirety of Driftcrest and YOU! Even you new faces!
Where: The large park in the center of town.
When: From the 15th to the 18th
Warnings: Will warn as needed.
The people of Driftcrest have so much to celebrate. Their loved ones have been returned to them, and the Unseen are well and truly and genuinely gone. Not only that, but a Winter that had been going on for years is finally ended and it's well and truly Summer. Flowers are blooming, there's color in the town that wasn't there before. People are happy. They have their freedom back, and are taking full advantage of it.
Now that there's no longer a curfew, the party can go well into the night with music, dancing, food of all kinds all over the place both set on tables and in various food trucks.
With the hammocks hung up in the area, along with portable ones available to purchase, and twinkling string lights threaded through the trees, the setting is peaceful. A far cry from the stress of the last few weeks.
There's music, both live and recorded, and an outdoor dance floor has been set up under some beautiful hanging lanterns and twinkling string lights. Once the sun goes down, there'll be fires set up for people to sit by and make s'mores.
All in all, this promises to be a memorable experience.
Grab some food, buy a hammock, find somewhere to celebrate because this party will go on for a while.

Clark Kent | OTA
While the necessity of fighting is still a sore spot, Clark isn't displeased with the results of battle with the Unseen. It's nice to walk through a crowd, listening to people reunite with their loved ones, and stopping here and there to chat with locals he recognizes from his day job. It's nice to see baseline humans interacting with other people who also have powers.
Clark can be found lurking near the food trucks, drifting from truck to truck as he works his way through the highlights of each menu. There's a decent chance he might purchase a meal for someone, associate or otherwise, who isn't as frugal with paychecks as he tends to be. And, at some point, he might even find his way to the dance floor. Just remember he's a country boy at heart and somewhat shy around people he doesn't know well.
After Dark
Later on, when campfires pop up as a bulwark against the dark, you can find Clark wandering through the trees. He'll stop at a campfire if he recognizes someone, but for the most part he's content to meander on the outskirts of the party. At some point, he might even fold his bulk into a hammock and spend time stargazing or chatting with anyone who walks by.

after dark. | i mean HONESTLY.
That is when he sees Clark Kent on the opposite side of those outskirts.
Bruce has done a fair job of avoiding the Kryptonian thus far. Not out of hate or malice, but simply guilt. It's better if he stays out of the way and allows the man to breathe and have his own life without the future looming over him. Who knows when Clark will return home and lives through it all. The only benefit that Bruce has in this situation is that Clark most likely doesn't know who he is.
Unless he's done some digging and found out from the public who Bruce Wayne, member of the Wechester Board is.
He notes how Clark is getting comfortable in the hammocks. With a nod to himself, Bruce turns and starts to walk away. It's definitely time to leave.

Except when he's sneaking around, apparently. Sneaking around and not saying hello. That's not neighborly, Wayne.
"Do you make a habit of lurking?"

"It's something you pick up from Gotham. I take it that it's different in Metropolis?"
