Who: The Spider-Teens
What: Hanging out, getting used to life in Wechester City, probably playing video games. Also Gwen has a problem and needs the guys to answer.
Where: Basement/kids hang out in the Spider-House.
When: 10/07 - evening.

Miles Purrales was running around the basement like a lunatic, jumping over the PS4 and skirting the stack of video games with the chaotic energy only a kitten his size would have. Occasionally, he stops to pounce on someone's back, gently and with no claws, but then kicks off of them and continues his wild-man run.

Meanwhile Gwen was stretched out on the floor, poking at homework but not actually doing it. She was distracted. Had been so, off and on, for a few days, now. Since the new arrivals and then the new town, she'd been elsewhere at the weirdest of times. Even with reassuring both her boyfriend and her best friend that she was fine, she actually was not. She had a lot on her mind, some of it far bigger than the rest, and while she'd love to talk about it all, she had to start small.

"Question for the two of you," Gwen states as she reaches for one of the bags of chips lying nearby. Miles Purrales decides he's done running around and hops onto the nearest lap, a boneless heap of exhausted black and white kitten who just wants attention goddamnit so someone pet him please.

"I think I handled something badly, and I wanted to tell you both about it to get some perspective. Is that ok?"

That's it, that's her question.

Miles nods, mulling over her words. "Then yeah, it is kinda weird that she'd play a different song." Hesitating a bit, he adds, "Maybe not enough to really go off on her, though."

He twirls his pencil between his fingers a bit as he chews over his next words. "If you feel bad about it, maybe apologize and talk to her? If part of the problem is not knowing how the other person operates, then maybe get to know her so you two can figure that out. Lay some ground rules and work out something you guys can agree on. Because it isn't really fair to expect her to just know that stuff about you if you don't really talk about it."
