Who: Everyone and anyone
What: Grand Opening/Gathering post fun
Where: Pour Judgement - Jessica's bar
When: 6-14 night

Pour Judgement is officially open!

Sure, Jessica has been at the bar pretty much every day since receiving the key and has been letting people hang out if they had stopped by but now is the grand opening. Everyone who wants to come in will be allowed to do so since the staff is in place and they are full up on everything they need. Drinks are cheaper, the music is playing, and there is even a dance floor if anyone is so inclined.

For the most part, Jessica is milling about just keeping an eye on things. She will be behind the bar if the bartenders need help or she can be found at one of the corner booths nearby. Mostly, she just wants everyone to have a good time. Except for anyone looking to cause trouble. Those people won't have a good time at all.

[ Go ahead, post your people, and tag around! If you want Jessica, I will have a thread for her below. Feel free to find her anywhere in the bar. ]

What: Gwen Stacy and YOU!
Where: Starkbucks, The Caldera, The SuperWaiter Offices, generally around town
When: 05/10 - All day
Warnings: Will update as needed.

It's been roughly two weeks since the setting changed and Gwen still thinks this place sucks. It's just always going to be too hot for her. The people are still rude, if calming down just a bit. But not enough to get Gwen's spider-senses to settle down. She constantly felt just a little bit on edge, and without her old routine of school-work-time with friends-home? She was feeling pretty listless.

Gwen didn't do too well with too much time on her hands. She liked being active, she enjoyed having projects or things to work on. So she decided to try to figure out what was wrong with Haven and why the people here were so against newcomers.

Her first stop of the day:

Starkbucks:

An opening shift, which meant Gwen was out of bed early and getting things moving at the store before they opened at 7 Am. Sadly, there were no pastries today. The baker never seemed to have any to spare, all while selling pastries to residents of Haven, so Gwen chalked that up to still being new and therefor untrustworthy. But there's hot coffee and hot tea. Nothing too fancy, since their espresso machine is very much so gone. And very rarely does the ice maker work, so at best, people might be able to get a luke-warm coffee, instead of iced.

But the roaster in back sure does a great job of perfuming the air with some of the best coffee Gwen's ever smelled. So, there's that. And people can buy it by the pound.

Today, while the baristas are out front helping customers, Gwen's repairing the ice machine. Again. She's gotten pretty good at this, but even with her fix, it just breaks down again eventually and the parts they need haven't been found yet. This is the best she has.

Stepping out into the main room of the coffee shop, Gwen spots someone waiting to order and heads over with a small smile. "What'll it be? Just a heads up; the ice machine is malfunctioning. We won't have ice for a couple hours."

Surprisingly, she actually is sorry about that.

The Music Store:

Listen, there's no school and Gwen doesn't hold still very well. After a two hour gap between jobs, Gwen has reported for duty. While most of the grown ups don't seem to like the newcomers, their kids still insist on ballet classes and drumming lessons and that's what Gwen is here for. While she's not teaching either, she's taking the time to work on her own moves in front of the big, broken mirror in the back. Or she's sitting at the drums, headphones in, as she plays along to something playing from her iPod.

It's very clear she's been doing both for quite some time, and really enjoys what she does.

When the bell rings over the door, somehow she hears it and she stops what she's doing to get a look at who just came in.

The Caldera:

Gwen's gotten the hang of skateboarding. So much so, that she actually visits the Caldera regularly. And true to her natural instinct to big sister people younger than her, she's busy teaching one of the smaller kids how to balance on the board.

When she's not doing that, she's skateboarding, herself. And doing her best to look like she's new at this. She still has a bunch of people believing she's a normal teen, and would like to continue that trend please and thank you.

So while she's steady, there's the occasional moment where she lets a rough patch in the concrete snag her board out from under her, or she takes a fall and frowns about it.

So at some point, there are scrapes and bruises on Gwen, much like some of the other teens at the Caldera. And just like them, she's going to keep skateboarding.

The Metroplex - Most locations open, one closed to Hawk:

Gwen's here for a variety of reasons. One of them is she has karate lessons with one of the senseis. She's been doing this for years, so the only thing she's keeping in check is her strength and sticking. Other than that, Gwen's keeping up with the others in her class, and gladly taking pointers from the instructors.

This is something she enjoys and she's here three times a week for classes, so feel free to come over and say hi. She'll talk to anyone.

[For Hawk: ]

After her class and a super-quick shower in the locker room, Gwen has a very important stop to make. She doesn't really visit the rock climbing section to do any climbing of her own. It's far, far too easy for her to forget she's supposed to keep her abilities in check while she's scurrying up the walls.

But, it's almost time for Hawk's break, and she'd like a few minutes with her boyfriend.

So she heads over and watches him help a student out of the harness, waiting for him to notice her. The student he's helping points Gwen out and Gwen grins, waiting to see how Hawk's going to react.

[SuperWaiter Offices/Deliveries: ]

The SuperWaiter offices aren't that crowded today, but that was because it wasn't that busy. That was fine. This was a side-gig job Gwen could grab whenever and, as Hawk still had a couple hours at work, this was where Gwen was. Waiting for orders and talking to a couple of her coworkers.

At some point, she ventures out long enough to get a few of the noodle dishes for everyone, but for the most part, Gwen's at the office, trying to decide if she's going to clock out early or wait for a delivery order to come through.

When she is on a delivery, she's out and about on her SuperWaiter motorbike. Are you one of her stops? If so, the food is hot and delivered in quick time. So please tip well. She's saving for a motorbike of her own.

[Wildcard: ]

If you'd like to put up a starter that isn't at the locations above, just LMK! I'll be happy with whatever.

Who: Gwen and Miles Ghost Spider and Arachnid.
What: Gwen is pissed off that the school bullies threw Hawks keys into the sewer, so Ghost Spider and Arachnid are going to find them.
Where: The Sewers near the school
When: 12:15 AM, 04/26
Warnings: Here there be monsters. And mentions of bullying and physical violence. Also some swearing.

With three extra people in the house, it wasn't too easy for Gwen and Miles to sneak out. They had to wait until they were sure everyone was asleep. Everyone. Even their unofficial house mom. And with Gwen crashing in Hawks room the night after every awful thing went down between him and the school bullies, sneaking out had been a tad harder than she expected.

But she managed to get herself out of his room, knock gently on Miles door as a five minute warning, and soon enough, Ghost Spider was dressed and waiting on the roof of their house. Once Miles shows up, Ghost Spider takes off. The houses and trees are close enough to each other that getting from rooftop to rooftop wasn't difficult. They were both really good at being quiet. And even some of the taller buildings in town made this trek easy, which Ghost Spider was grateful for.

Finally, she dropped off of the roof of the maintenance building near school and looks around. Sure enough, she spots the sewer grate, complete with the bloody handprints Hawk told her about and that just angers her, the eyes of her mask narrowing to show as much.

She's not saying what Hawk did was right, and she's not saying two wrongs make a right, but after seeing how badly Hawk had been affected by the actions of Derek and company, and his own, she was pretty mad.

Taking a flashlight out of the backpack she wore, she crouched and sent the light into the sewer, trying to see how far down it went. She could hear water running gently below, so it didn't sound like too far a drop.

Still, wet shoes made for bad sticking, so she wasn't exactly looking forward to going in there.

"It doesn't sound like whatever water's in there is too deep, so hopefully the keys didn't get washed too far away." Not that this would stop her from searching.

What: Gwen's out of the hospital and home. She's hanging with her roommates/YOU!
Where: The Spider Mad-House on Leedits.
When: All day Saturday
Warnings: Will warn as needed.

Gwen was home. Finally. It felt like she was in the hospital forever, but that's just a teenager being a teenager. Over-dramatic. Prone to exaggerating just a bit.

She'd been picked up by Miles, and they stopped for breakfast at one of their favorite small cafes, Gwen eating a plate of peaches and cream waffles and turkey bacon like she hadn't eaten in weeks. Technically, this was kind of true? But logically, that doesn't count because statues can't eat. Still, her spider-metabolism was starting to amp up to where it used to be, so all the food is the best food.

Peaches and cream waffles, specifically.

But now she's home and people can find her a variety of places, having many a wonderous adventure.

Like playing vide games on the living room couch. Much excite, very adventure, wow.

This literally lasts maybe twenty minutes before she turns off Uncharted and decides instead to go to the kitchen for more food. So if anyone wants nachos, this is the time to come get some. She's pulling out some pre-cooked steak, onions, jalapenos, all the good stuff so she can make these nachos. And it's a good sized plate of them, too.

If you're nearby enough, she'll speak to you directly, oh housemate.

"You know what I saw a family do on FluxTok? They covered their entire kitchen table in tin foil, and then dumped tortilla chips all over it. And then they had all these cooked meats, and all these nacho toppings. I think we should do that for dinner some night. One giant nacho table. What do you think?"

This is a serious question that needs serious answers.

Later on, she can be found in the garage doing one of two things:

The first thing she might be doing is, from the comfort of a lawn chair, she's sketching the interior of the garage, designing a cat trail to go on the walls. It's SuperMario themed. There are warp tunnels in her design, and a lot of treasure boxes and enemies, too. She's going to have fun with this and make a thing of creating these designs, and is completely okay with people coming to offer advice.

The second thing she might be doing is drumming. There's music playing from her iPhone, and Gwen is drumming along. Not only to that song, but something a little older, too.

About two thirds of the way of Bohemian Rhapsody, however, Gwen gets tired and stops drumming, resting her elbows on her knees and her forehead in her hands with a sigh and a small groan. If she could go for a bit without feeling like crap, that'd be amazing.

[Closed Prompt for Hawk: ]

With all that tiring her out, Gwen takes a nap. She's asleep for a couple hours, but the sound of a door opening down the hall wakes her up. She recognizes the way one of the hingest squeaks just slightly. That was Peter's room. Now it's Hawks, and Gwen would like to see him. Just to say hi.

So, wrapping a blanket around her shoulders because she's feeling cold again, she heads down the hall. Her hair is a touch wild from her nap, but Gwen isn't thinking about that. She's thinking of her friend. She wants to make sure Hawk is settling in alright and that the guys from school aren't harassing him just yet.

Knocking on his bedroom door carefully, Gwen straightens up and pulls the blanket around her shoulders more, waiting for him to answer.

Who: The Spider-Teens
What: Hanging out, getting used to life in Wechester City, probably playing video games. Also Gwen has a problem and needs the guys to answer.
Where: Basement/kids hang out in the Spider-House.
When: 10/07 - evening.

Miles Purrales was running around the basement like a lunatic, jumping over the PS4 and skirting the stack of video games with the chaotic energy only a kitten his size would have. Occasionally, he stops to pounce on someone's back, gently and with no claws, but then kicks off of them and continues his wild-man run.

Meanwhile Gwen was stretched out on the floor, poking at homework but not actually doing it. She was distracted. Had been so, off and on, for a few days, now. Since the new arrivals and then the new town, she'd been elsewhere at the weirdest of times. Even with reassuring both her boyfriend and her best friend that she was fine, she actually was not. She had a lot on her mind, some of it far bigger than the rest, and while she'd love to talk about it all, she had to start small.

"Question for the two of you," Gwen states as she reaches for one of the bags of chips lying nearby. Miles Purrales decides he's done running around and hops onto the nearest lap, a boneless heap of exhausted black and white kitten who just wants attention goddamnit so someone pet him please.

"I think I handled something badly, and I wanted to tell you both about it to get some perspective. Is that ok?"

That's it, that's her question.
