THE BATMAN.

The Bat has been active - more so than when Fluxscape had been apart of Wechester City. There's more of a need now. There is a threat. While the Bat may not be the hero for these people as he is in Gotham City? The need to solve the pressing questions of Driftcrest call for his attention. A few have already seen the towering figure of the Batman on the rooftops of the town and the skii lodge.

This is exactly where you can find him now.

The Bat - and therefore Bruce Wayne - had been forced to adjust his idea on the scope of reality some time ago. The Superman and the Kryptonians. Then, an Amazon Princess. A cyborg, metahumans. In a way it seemed like too much. Sometimes he wondered if he had really gone crazy. Or, maybe, the world was always crazy, and now he was simply seeing how truly crazy it was.

If anything? It made the adjustments for Fluxscape - this weird blending of realities - easier to process. Especially the potential idea of someone else from another Gotham. Hopefully it wouldn't be as strange as when he spoke to Gansey or Evie. Given he was fairly sure they knew the alter identity and simply kept mum about it.

The Batman sat on the top of a rooftop of the skii resort. His eyes slowly moved over the snow as they had thousands of times already. They were looking - hunting. The first generation of Waynes were hunters. This couldn't be any different.

BRUCE WAYNE.

For those looking for Bruce Wayne? Well, he can be in a place of your choosing. He has been a bit more lax on his duties at Wechester Enterprises. Of course, he'd be honest, if asked. He sees himself as the in between for Mr. Wechester and the people who flux in and out. Which means he needs to be out and about more in the locations to be able to give better reports. A way for him to be a bit of a face to build trust on both ends.

Being a CEO would be easier.

Bruce has taken to the back of a local coffee shop. He has a workshirt on as opposed to his regular suit. It might look like a down day for him. If it wasn't for the fact he has one sleeve rolled up and is looking over the very particular interesting wound. There is a reason he is hiding in the back looking at this. It started to itch - usually that means its healing. Instead, he swears it is actually being iced over.

Sure, why the hell not.

Reality broke a long time ago.

"The vision?" He considered it. He had a vision once... about a future that could come true. Something that he wondered how it could ever happen after the fate of Superman. "Do you see what they want, or do you make it?"

"No, I don't make it and I can't influence it in any way," Which was a small lie but she didn't want to tell him the way she could mess with a vision like that. So she continued on quickly before he could ask. "It's their greatest hope, that's what I see."

Hm. He made a note to keep her as far away from his mind as possible. For one, it would obviously give away his identity. For two, he didn't want her roaming around in his head. Hopes were always difficult when it came to the Batman.

"Can you see anything in visions other than hopes?"

She could almost feel the wariness rolling off of him but it wasn't also hard to guess that he would want to keep her out of his mind. This guy was masked, hiding everything about himself and so it was an easy assumption to make.

"What do you mean exactly?" She asked, arching a brow at him.

A hand raised from inside the cape to gesture to the area. There were plenty of frozen "statues" nearby.

"Communication. Maybe we could learn something if there is anything left of them."

"I don't think it will work," Tandy admitted after a moment of thinking about it, sighing. "I need skin-to-skin contact."

Which she didn't really want to admit to him but there it was.

The Batman nodded. It was better to get what he could of her powers without having to dig. Good will went far in a situation like this.

"You've tried it through the ice?"

"Well...no." Tandy admitted with a bit of a sigh because he had caught her there but then she shrugged. "I just know that I need skin-to-skin contact usually but I guess I could try?"

He turned back to stand beside her. There was a small distance between them though, enough to give her a space to work. Then a nod.

"Let's try. If you're up for it. If anything, we'll know your powers don't work on them."

Tandy figured the space between them was also to make sure that she didn't try to touch him at all which she had no plans on doing. She was simply focused on the ice statues, studying them almost warily for a moment before moving closer.

"Okay, here it goes," She murmured, reaching out to touch the closest one. First, she touched the statue's arm and then reached down to take its hand. After that, she moved to another one and tried using her power there too.

After a couple more attempts, she gave a frustrated sigh while glancing at him and shaking her head. "It's not working."

Batman moved to stand enough to act. Just in case. There was no telling what the ice sculptures may do. It could of been a trap--just images of lost loved ones. His hands flexed, prepared to fight at a moment notice.

Thankfully, it didn't come that.

A nod.

"IT was worth the shot."

Tandy couldn't help but look a little disappointed but whether it was in herself or in her power not working, it was hard to say. Still, she was already wishing that she could do more as she stepped back with a little nod.

"Yeah, at least now we know for sure that it's people under there." If there was any doubt of it at all.
