The people of Driftcrest have so much to celebrate. Their loved ones have been returned to them, and the Unseen are well and truly and genuinely gone. Not only that, but a Winter that had been going on for years is finally ended and it's well and truly Summer. Flowers are blooming, there's color in the town that wasn't there before. People are happy. They have their freedom back, and are taking full advantage of it.

Now that there's no longer a curfew, the party can go well into the night with music, dancing, food of all kinds all over the place both set on tables and in various food trucks.

With the hammocks hung up in the area, along with portable ones available to purchase, and twinkling string lights threaded through the trees, the setting is peaceful. A far cry from the stress of the last few weeks.

There's music, both live and recorded, and an outdoor dance floor has been set up under some beautiful hanging lanterns and twinkling string lights. Once the sun goes down, there'll be fires set up for people to sit by and make s'mores.

All in all, this promises to be a memorable experience.

Grab some food, buy a hammock, find somewhere to celebrate because this party will go on for a while.

"Hey, Mr. Wayne," Miles says as he picks up his own taco order. He hadn't seen much of the business man since their shared dream experience, barring the glimpses he'd seen of the Batman during the final battle. They hadn't had much of a chance to talk, but...was there anything more to say about what happened?

Bruce turns his head at the sound of Miles's voice. He gives a friendly nod, finishing his taco before crossing his arms to look out over the party going public. Maybe he's just not in much of a celebratory mood. Finding out that Clark Kent is here, alive, breathing, but unknowing of what's going to happen? It's brought back some things that he hadn't been focusing on much since his arrival in all the different realities.

"Miles."

He watches the older man for a moment, frowning a little. He has a feeling that there's something on Bruce's mind, though he couldn't imagine what exactly. "Everything okay?"

A small shrug. "Some people from home have found their way here to Driftcrest. IT presents some problems that they're not aware of."

Bruce doesn't feel the need to pull a team together -- not yet. There are plenty of hero types here that they can more or less coordinate and work together if needed. There isn't a formal need for a team like there is back home. Though, it is something to keep in mind.

Just in case.

"Gwen is from your reality isn't she?"

"Oh yeah? People from your world, huh?"

Miles can't help feeling a little jealous. But somehow, apparently it's a lot more complicated than that, given that Bruce doesn't seem entirely thrilled by it.

The question has him a bit surprised, but he shrugs anyway. "Not exactly. She's actually from a different universe than mine, but we met when she and a few others were accidentally pulled into my world."

"Quite a few of them. You've probably met one of them. Diana Prince?" Bruce offers the name casually, though there might be a hint of fondness buried in his tone. If one squints, tilts their head, and hangs upside down. Just maybe. "So, you were already aware of the multiverse before you arrived."

At least Miles seems to be more prepared than he was when it came to all this. Bruce turns his head to look at the young man.

"What happened?"

"Diana Prince...oh, yeah, I think so..." He just met her pretty recently, actually, but still. He does notice something in Bruce's tone when he says her name, though he isn't sure exactly what.

"Yeah, I learned about the multiverse around the time I, uh..." He glances around a bit, seeing how many people were around and in earshot. "Around the time I picked up some new abilities. There was this guy in my world - big business type during the day, crime lord by night, and he was using his resources to try and open up portals to other universes. He ended up pulling some people from other dimensions into ours, including Gwen."

"She works to restore ancient art. Especially the Greek works." Bruce manages to suppress a smile at the fact that it is ironic. An Amazonian Princess working to restore the Greek artifacts of the world. He wonders how she fell into that line of work after everything.

"Mob moss. Gotham has more than a few of those." He nods to the rest of the statement, making sure the conversation remains casual and void of details. "I'm guessing that some brave people stepped up and kept the dimensional doors from falling in on one another. Something the public didn't know about?"

"Sounds cool." He doesn't really get the context, but he had a bit of an idea of ancient Greek work, so it does still seem impressive.

"Yeah, for the most part." Miles grins a little. "Although once the others had gotten back to their dimensions, the hero from my world managed to capture the big bad to bring him into custody."

"I'm guessing you never studied the classics, Miles." Ther eis a smirk on his face.

'The hero from my world.' Someone's proud of that. Good. He should be. The small victories will help matter more later.

"And I'm guessing this hero of your world is still a junior?"

"Only in a really broad sense. Not a lot of time to go in-depth with them." Which was too bad, because what he had learned had been interesting.

"He, uh...definitely doesn't have as much experience as others, no."

"Well, if you're curious, I'd ask her. It might help break the ice." Bruce says it as if he's really broken the ice with Diana. He feels he has, but, knowing that Diana hasn't experienced some of what he has... makes it a bit more difficult.

"I'm sure he'll get the chance to learn from the others here."

"Yeah, I'll definitely have to ask her about that if I see her."

He manages a small smile as he nods. "Yeah...he's learned quite a bit already, I think."

Bruce turns his gaze back to Miles at that. There's a bare hint of a smile on his face. Good. Miles needs to learn as fast as he can to keep up with the more experienced ones. Though, Bruce himself isn't sure how long the Bat will be able to keep up.

"How long has your superhero been active?"

"Including the time here? A few months. He'd only been around, uh...less than a week back home, before coming here."

A lot happened in a short time.

A complete newcomer. Bruce looks him over again. No wonder he seemed so insecure when they had first met as their alter egos. He is still learning the kind of hero he wants to be, let alone figuring out how to project that.

"Then, it sounds like the first thing he needs to worry about is figuring out the kind of hero he wants to be."

He nods a little. "Yeah, it's...a work in progress."

He's figuring out things here and there, but it's still something he's working on.
