Pour Judgement is officially open!

Sure, Jessica has been at the bar pretty much every day since receiving the key and has been letting people hang out if they had stopped by but now is the grand opening. Everyone who wants to come in will be allowed to do so since the staff is in place and they are full up on everything they need. Drinks are cheaper, the music is playing, and there is even a dance floor if anyone is so inclined.

For the most part, Jessica is milling about just keeping an eye on things. She will be behind the bar if the bartenders need help or she can be found at one of the corner booths nearby. Mostly, she just wants everyone to have a good time. Except for anyone looking to cause trouble. Those people won't have a good time at all.

Hamlet had been on the dance floor, as Jessica had recommended. She did find it rather freeing, once she got used to this new style of movement. So much less organized than the dances she had been forced to go to before. So much more fun.

But she thirsts, and so she orders a beer from the bar and is handed a bottle. Intriguing. She sits, noticing a moment too late that she seems to have invaded the table of someone else.

"Forgive me, friend. I had not realized this table was occupied. Would you perhaps enjoy some company?"

[grimmfaced]

Nick blinks in surprise when a young woman flings herself into the seat across from him, not seeming to notice him as she plops down and starts to take a drink from her beer. He watches curiously with a hint of a smile when she finally looks up, earning a soft chuckle as he takes the sudden 'invasion' in stride.

"Actually, I probably would," He tells her, welcoming the distraction from his thoughts going on a downward spiral. Then he leans across just enough to offer a hand to her. "I'm Nick."

"Hamlet." She shakes his hand firmly, giving him a wry smile. "There, you have no weapons hidden in your sleeves, and you can plainly see there are none in mine. May we both be satisfied.

What brings you here on this night, Nick?"

[grimmfaced]

"Is that normally a worry of yours?" Nick asks with an amused look though there might be a hint of concern in there as well. But she is right in that he isn't armed at the moment.

"I came to people watch and have a beer," He admits. "I'm still trying to make sense of this place, so this seemed like a good opportunity."
